Hi there all,
Am looking into buying a 605 Mopar and would likesome feed back on this combo.

Callies 4.75 crank
oliver billet 7.100 2.200 .990 rods
custom JE pistons gas ported dish 10.72 comp
straitline roller 280/292 @.050
572-13 heads full ported
T&D 1.5 rockers
indy valley with removable center
indy valve covers with spray bar oiling
Smith bros pushrods
crower roller lifters
milodon 2 line oil system
milodon gear drive
pro billet dist
440-3x intake ported throughout
pro systems dominator
ati balancer

I am waiting for more info on the engine so as soon as I get it i will post it.

What I would like to know is are there any known problems with this bore, stroke, block combo and what are the heads like.

Will be a street/strip car so would like to know as much as possible about this combo as I am new to big blocks.

Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
George.

Darren Tedder just built a Millennium headed Hemi for me . That's a lot of motor for a street car

Yeah but how much fun would it be driving it.

I run the same combo , only difference being 4.562 bore/4.625 stroke , i take it this is the raised cam block? , i run the 605 on the street with no issue , only problems i've had have been with the indy spray bar setup , just gott pull the valve covers regularly to check pushrods , can be a pain when using the larger type MSD distributor (nitrous) , other issues being valve spring temp/cold start.

Are those pistons vertical or lateral gas ported? , only issues i see are the gas ports getting gummed up with street use.

Good luck , a few good parts in that motor.
