I doubt a stock six pack scoop will clear.

well figure at least 75% of the carb will be above a flat hood line so even with a tall sixpack scoop the carbs will still stick out.

I just went out and measured mine...Weiand 5987 tunnel ram with two 750 Proform's mounted sideways, with a one inch spacer, it is fourteen inches from the valley pan to the top of the carb where the air cleaner would mount. Hope this helps, Bob

Talk to Mike steel, OhioGTX. He runs a 68 or 69 GTX with tunnel ram and 6pak hood.

I am running an M1 TR with Victor heads/RB in a 68 GTX and using a 6 Pack hood scoop, it is a tight fit at best. I also ran this combo with EBrock RPM heads. The fit was much better with the RPM heads. The Victor head raises the intake just under an inch which makes the rear carb clearance very very tight.

Airflow into the carbs is far from optimal. If I continue to run the TR next year I would like to try some different scoop configurations and see if this is a true statement.

Glad to get you some measurements when I can get back to the garage.

I would also note that an Indy-TR/RB combo would not fit and a Wieand TR/RB combo will not fit. Either of these on a low-deck has a chance but not on an RB.

The Mopar M1 tunnel ram is not as tall as the Weiand.

I, like Ohio GTX ran a M-1 tunnel ram on a B1/BS headed 528 in my 68' Charger. I ran two 750 Holleys under a six pack hood. As with Ohio, I had about 2 inches of clearance between the top of the carbs and the bottom of the hood. I also sealed the carbs from the engine with a fabricated drop base with no air cleaner. Not the ideal setup but it seemed to work all right.

And if any one is looking there is a M1 TR just listed in the Race parts section of the swap area...
