on a 70 cuda convertible top electric switch...the button on the switch knob...is it a white dot?

Is blue strictly for 1970? Were there any variations? I ask because I don't recall ever seeing a switch with a blue dot. I am missing the switch in my '70 Barracuda 'vert.

The 1970 and most 71's had the bluish green dot.

Yes, mine had the blue/green dot.
The "Top Lift" writing is red

then blue it is...seems like the same blue on the wiper...or was that the dimmer was yellow?....

I was expecting a thread about changing exterior color on an E-body convertible...

Blue, or more accurately Aqua is used on all 70 E body cars, this continued partially into 1971 cars, then it was switched to orange. My best guess when would be around Nov. Dec. of 1970. The orange is the same color as the rear defog dot.

My original top lift switch is the aqua blue color. Though as an FYI also have an NOS top lift switch still in the box and the paint area was NOT painted at all. I have had the switch for 20+ yrs.

I had an NOS (71) switch as well, but I recently sold it to M46rat, it was an orangish color.
