Yes you are right as I did not mean to not mention Pontiac as they had some very stout cars in the 62 and 65 years. But it still seems like more Mopars then most. Anonymous Unregistered A	Our cars have a lot more versatility and availabilty for powertrains than most of the others. 440/Hemi base blocks/cranks and parts are readily available and it's easy to put one in any 62-5 Mopar with minimal hassle. 427 Ford Side oilers don't exactly grow on trees and motors like 421 Pontiacs aren't plentiful either. Chevy wasn't really in the game.... The Ford T-bolts require a lot of surgery and cramming of the motor to get it to fit properly. Not so with our Mopars! I can build a cross-ram equipped cast crank 440 that looks every bit the part for a lot less $ than a competitive motor from another brand!
