Hi,
Thanks for any help. I have a 1965 Coronet that has a 1970 e-body K-member. It moves the engine back 1 5/8 inches. The torsion bars that are in the car are for a 1966-72 b-body because the 1965 bars are to long. (41 inches long).
I want to change from power to manual steering and don't know for sure what steering shaft to use. The car is stored for the winter and I can't get to it very easily to measure how long the shaft thats in it. I'm thinking I will need a manual shaft from a 66-72. Any body done this?
Thanks again for any help.
Ray

They make a shaft extension that lengthens the shaft about 2.5 inches. I think it also changes the diameter of the shaft to fit the manual box.
