How should I plumb my brake swap. I am putting in Manual Discs up front to replace the power drums.
I have a set of spindles from a "A" body ('75)
and the 11.75 calipar adapters.
My question is should I re-use my drum brake dist. block and plumb a adjustable proportioning valve behind it to the rear brakes or...
Use a proportioning valve from the donor car?
Chuck

that'd be my choice & see how it performs and possibly also adding the adjustable one in the rear line either at the same time or later if needed

Were all the proportioning valves the same on all cars? I mean would a '75 Dart and a '75 C-Body(pick the model) have the same proportioning vavle in it? Just curious as I am doing a '68 B Body and the donor I have is a '75 A body. I am sure there is a bit of a weight difference there if it matters.

Chuck different ones have different proportioning though I"m not sure how much difference there is beween them & I'm not qualified to suggest the one that would be the best for your app as I am strickly into A bodies. You might contact Doctor Diff if no one else chimes in
