not sure if I can get them on here easy
Your's is the "Deluxe" interior. His is the taxi cab plain interior. However, M2T probably has the same headliner.

The RR pics posted are Decor Group cars; different seat & door patterns. Base Belvie door panels '68-'69 used Reed grain in the center. I went on the Hamtramck Historical website, like I mentioned earlier, and your door/qtr trim panels are the lighter tan, one color, with the darker color (T5 or T7, maybe) on the metal. Armrests & bases appear to be tan, though I thought they're be darker. Seat covers use the lighter color on the bolsters, darker color for the inserts. '69 insert grain is more like the VW Beetle texture, and has pleats in the center, instead of the '68 Reed centers with no pleats. Plastic parts & windlace should be the same as the RR pics posted.

True
I know what he is talkng about on the lace looking panels. Should be the same as a base interior RR.

52, those are the correct '68-'69 Belvedere & base RR interior panels. Seat cover pattern is the same '68-'69; the inserts in the pic are the '69 style, although that car is a '68 judging by the hood & dash.
It's a '68(April 9th build date).. Those are the correct (deluxe)covers for it. I restored the car in 1988. At that time repo seat covers weren't available for it but Legendary said they would make me a set if I send them the old covers. They did a great job... '68 and '69 use the same covers.

'68 used Reed grain inserts, no pleats, according to the original trim guides: I've had 3 '68 RRs with them, both original cars, two St.Louis, one L.A. I don't recall the SPD on the L.A. car, but the St.Louis cars are 9/67. Still have one of them. Legendary's Reed pattern was reproduced from my L.A. car's covers, and they gave me a free set for the favor; that was around '87 or '88. Up to that time the Reed pattern inserts were not available, but the '69 inserts were, and that's what people used. There were only 2 interior trim levels in '68: the base (Belvedere coupe) and the Decor Group (Satellite), which was added mid-model-year. It's possible that a late-'68 base interior might use the pleated '69 inserts if the Reed inserts were used up, but I haven't seen an original/unmolested '68 with them. I can recall 2 other '68 RRs with the base interior, also unpleated Reed inserts; one a very early car, the other one unknown. Sorry to veer off the '69 topic.

I've owned the car almost 40 years and here are the original date coded covers. They were spray painted(screwed up) black by the previous owner and I never touched them because it was a drag car until 1988. Around 1979 or so, there used to be another '68 roadrunner nearby identical to mine but with a 383. I tried to contact the guy to see if he wanted to sell it. I thought it would be pretty cool having identical 383 and HEMI roadrunners. I lost track of it after my attempts to contact him failed.
sorry about the hijack....
