69 b body BB its got the short fan clutch ,parts store keeps giving me a longerone ,it won,t clear radiator ,i found several in my junk ,but they all are shot ,anybody know where i can find one of these new ,inside measurements on clutch are 13/16 ID ,seems to be common on b bodys

Hayden part #2765, don't worry about what the partsman says it fits. It just works for your car.

This is a very common problem for the 69 B-bodies. The Hayden worked fine for my Road Runner.
You would think by now that Hayden or some other manufactured could make one that looks a little more correct but sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Jims auto parts shows them on there site. Pretty resonable price to.

but they sure don't seem to lock up tight like the old ones did, maybe because all the newer cars are running 210 as a normal temp?

Mine does just fine, you can hear it even out as the car warms up at high idle. Almost like it has to normalize at first.
