I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the stripe is on backwards.......It's supposed to match the trunk line.......

Oh snap! I hate when that happens!!
We shouldn't pick apart the details. This Dart has been flamed enough!

Ahh my painter made a boo boo

I think I have that trunk part put away somewhere . Oh well part for the course And I think it should be on there properly

Just my .02 but when you get it done have it repainted under the clear.... mine is done this way and everyone comments on it alot

with a car that beautiful it should have been painted on and put under clear

No time for painting it on

I had clear painted over mine, I wouldn't recommend it. The clear won't "bite" into the stripe like it does on the base coat. I've had mine chip and there is some bubbles in the clear over the stripe. Looks killer, there's a lot of work in assembly...

I'm not so sure about the stripe placement. I would call one of the vendors who sells them and get the skinny on it. Here's a pic of a 69 that looks like it's pointing forward.

Car looks good.
The guy that put my stripes on did the same thing and realized it instantly. They didnt have it labeled in the box and just didn't think about it. He just cut some new stuff he had at his shop and put it on. Sucks, because its now a different color and has shrunk in size . you can still see where it originally was before it shrunk cause there is glue residue there.

Good luck w/ finishing it Where is the show its going to??

Jimmy looks like you decided to change the wiring to a different set up. Sorry couldn't help but notice. Oh and expect a call from me today. Need to see if you can help out Dave Morgan while he is in town.
