Plans call for the car to be on display at the PRI show. Does not need to be complete and running, but at least resemble a complete car. I dont see them having time to wire it and do all the plumbing, but putting it together and getting the running gear in will be good enough to display.

Goes around corners, conforms to curves, etc. and no adhesive to dink with!

the aluminum foil goes on easy BUT you would be amazed at where I have seen overspray get to and that blue painters tape leaves no residue at all.

Yep, I use the green on detail type areas.
I used the foil just this past weekend to mask the machined area on my spindles so I could paint the rest. 5 seconds per spindle and you're done!

I think it would be to much with the flames but did consider doing something with just have not decided what. For now it will stay the way it is.
Nothing else needed, IMO. It will look SINISTER as it pulls up to the line!! Men will spring on their feet, raising their arms to the Hemi Gods, and speaking in tongues. Small children will be crying out for their mommies. Ricer-loving teenagers will be running to the fence, to catch a glimpse of the mechanical marvel. Women will be standing in line at the ladies room, as usual.

Re: CARBON AND WIRING PICS - 12/07/09 02:01 AM
I had clear painted over mine, I wouldn't recommend it. The clear won't "bite" into the stripe like it does on the base coat. I've had mine chip and there is some bubbles in the clear over the stripe. Looks killer, there's a lot of work in assembly...

Car looks good.
The guy that put my stripes on did the same thing and realized it instantly. They didnt have it labeled in the box and just didn't think about it. He just cut some new stuff he had at his shop and put it on. Sucks, because its now a different color and has shrunk in size
. you can still see where it originally was before it shrunk cause there is glue residue there.
Good luck w/ finishing it
Where is the show its going to??
