Hi guys, I did some measuring on my car in anticipation of a new tire/rim combo....I'd like to go with MT S/R radials tires and Mopar rallyes for rims.
I'd like to do at least 15x8 rims all the way around - would love 28x12 tire in rear, however I don't think that's gonna fit - probably be limited to 28x10. At leat this is what my tape measure tells me, but maybe someone here has been down this path and can verify. I'm thinking 26x8 or 26x10 in front - Stockton Wheel told me 15x7 rim is max for front - I'm not convinced I can't do 15x8 in front - again, maybe someone can verify? Thanks for any input!!
I'd like to mention that I'd like to stay with 15" rims.

hmmmm, I never tried the 15x8 in the front. I have 15x7 fronts with 245/6015 tires, in the back 15x8 with 275/60/15 but you can go with a 295/50/15 in the rear

235/60 on a 15x8 with 4.75 back space. Plenty of room on the outside, rim was within .25 of the upper control arm.

I had 275-60-15 with 7" rims on the back, they were tight but no fit issues. I didn't like the stance so I went to a smaller size.

26x10/15 M/T S/R on a 15x8 with 4.5 backspace ( that's about a 255/50). It's tight enough I may need to mock up a jounce situation to check clearance. Should have gone with a 4.75 BS instead.
