dOc ! The village idiot's idiot Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 30,544 Florida STAYcation	The OEM used nothing(in most cases IIRC) ... but from my observations ...I am going to use DEADsoft copper. That material will transfer heat to the heat and ALSO conform to the exh man ... to it's normal imperfections AND when it is moving around under normal operating conditions.

If the surface is irregular and you don't want to have it milled flush, then us Remflex gaskets, they have a lot of crush and are guaranteed to seal. Scott B. "I'm a self-made man...
