Thought I would ask here first,I moved the springs inboard on my runner with the relocation kit and while doing this I moved the front mounting hole up as far as possible maybe 1".notched the frame and boxed it in rear and put the rear mount straight across from the oe.I just
put the car on the ground after 3+ yrs and the rear is now higher then before.Should have dropped inch or so. Found the rear shackle is now straight up and down not leaning back some so spring is full arched holding car up, Anyone run across this before? I can not see why the weight of the car does not push the arch down and the shackle back. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks Bruce

Are these the exact same leaf springs as before the relocation?
Is the car all stripped down to the point of a pile of weight missing?

Check the length of the front segment and the length of the axle to holes you drilled in the new boxes.

Magum,
Thanks for the reply. Yes same spring and holes are drilled where old holes were only higher up.
I still have glass and doors to go but do not think the 200/250 from them are going to put the car closer to where I wanted to get. I guess I will finsh assembly and then go from there
Thanks,Bruce

Drill the hole lower.Look at the SS hangers. The top hole makes the car sit higher the lower hole lets it sit lower.Have them on my 65.Rocky
