picked up a 440 today, came with a 75 truck. Thinking of putting it in my 49 Wayfarer. I had a 383 with a 4 speed, but it needs to be rebuilt, and I don't have all the 4 speed parts. This is complete. Need to clean it up and find out what I can do to speed it up alittle.

if you had the 383 in the car already,,if you dont know the 440 is a tall deck,,the exhaust ports will be a tad bit higher on the 440,which wil raise your manifolds or headers,,some cars it is a issue

Here was a pic when I had started mocking it up, had one with heads and steering, still needed to get a length of DD shaft and borgenson joint.
