Ive only used there hoods, scoops and bumpers. There quality was top notch. My body shop really complimented the quality. I wouldnt hesitate to use there fenders. I believe that they have the headlight buckets moulded into the fenders which is a major plus. If glass fenders is what you want, I would go for it. I used glass fenders from Glasstek before AAR had fenders and they were pretty nice also. They didnt have the headlight buckets which kinda made things difficult. I was shocked as to how lite the factory steel fenders were on my wifes Dart. I personally wouldnt use glass fenders again for an A-body. But like I said, if your gonna get them or you NEED them; I would have no problem using AAR.

you can't lean on them and there's very little weight saving
What do you think the weigh savings is on a stock A-body hood vs an AAR glass or other brands hood?

I not sure what a stock hood weighs but sure feels like a lot I think the biggest weight saving I think is going with a fiberglass trunk lid those stock one a very heavy. imo

If you really want to save weight... go with carbon fiber... it cost way more but its stronger and way lighter... my fenders are 6# each and I thought about making them in carbon fiber but figured it would be way toooo much cost to save 2# max so I stayed with steel fenders and the carbon hood... fiberglass tends to move around in the sun if its made light weight ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

Is that what those are for? ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) Mine has them, but they were in the wrong position. The factory adjusters were too short as well. In fact, I could not find any adjusters that were long enough, so I had to make custom adjusters. I'm not sure if a got a set of "seconds" fenders or what. I got it worked out, just wanted to see how everyone else handled it.

My trunk lock clip would not fit. Material too thick. Nothing a cut off wheel to the groove in the lock would not fix

I primed my hood yesterday (AAR glass hood)thats going on the Rampage... that thing looks VERY GOOD... one more coat of primer and it should be ready... I wish it was a 1/8" longer on the back edge but I can live with it ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)
