have a 440 bored 030 with the six pack pistons, lunati 30307 cam mild 452 heads complete msd 750 holley dbl. pump, 1/34 headers,just had tranny rebuilt with tg2 shift kit & 4200 stall converter just wondering why idle speed has gone from about 850 to 1100 rpm in gear....thx

New TQ?? it will be looser promoting better idle tendencies. And the air is better this time if year sometimes effects the idle to. Cold clear air good!

What specifically was changed from when it was idling @850?

Possible vacuum leak/ line left unhooked somewhere

New converter has more slip at idle and doesn't load the motor so hard.
