Hi!

Can anybody comment on the quality of the Goodmark Cuda and Challenger front fenders?

Pics?

Problem areas?

the challenger fender a friend of mine bought
(he is a member here and has posted this himself) fit
like absolute crap...(i know nothing about the cuda fender myself)
to make the body lines line up
the fender was hitting against the door, move it off the door and it was wayy off, it really looked horrible.
he complained and goodmark said they knew about the problem
(i wonder myself why they don't rectify this???)
and they gave him half of his money back to make him happy
so they know themselves there is an issue with them..
he is now doing a bunch of work to reuse his original fender
that fits like a glove
before seeing that, i was half interested in them myself but
now i will just fix what i have instead
and i will avoid goodmark and thier junk
you should not have to do work to a new 600 + dollar fender
to make it look right..
that they still sell knowing it has issues..
they lost this customer

Goodmarks are being put on my 73 right now. They did need quite a bit of work though. I think my fenders were from one of the earlier batches. I don't know if they have gotten any beter.

On mine, the lower bodyline didn't match on at least one fender. The fender was cut open and the bodyline was moved down to match the door. Also, the hood sat higher than the top of the new fenders. The hood to fender gap was a little wide too. To solve both problems, the fender was cut open all the way along the top. A rod was welded inside the gap to bring the fender UP.
