I'm cleaning up the original gas tank from my 71' Cuda, and on the top there is a sticker that is similar in color (yellow) font, etc to the core support sticker. It says something to the effect of there being a tank, within the tank, and to pull out a plug to drain it. I don't remember the exact wording- the car is a CA car- so I'm assuming that it has to do with CA emissions? It is nearly perfect condition. I have never heard anyone mention this before. ??????????????

Cool Snoopy. Does that mean I have to hook all the lines back up again? I'm running an electric fuel pump and return lines now-actually not til spring.

I have the same stock tank & lines in my 1970 'Cuda, but pulled it out to install a larger capacity tank for a while with larger fuel inlets, outlets & vents etc.

How did you plumb the return lines? Did you use the two-bung on the fuel sending unit? Are you leaving the rest of the system in place?

Return, transfer and vent lines.

Point is, I documented and removed the stock stuff and safely tucked it away until I'm ready to turn the car into a museum piece some day.

It just didn't make enough power for my tastes in stock form, and I didn't want to hack up the stock stuff. These mods are all bolt in, and the parts you have are pretty rare, California ECS stuff.
