Does this plate go on the botom of an early (63-65) B body A/C heater box? I'm pretty SURE I got this from the guy that sold me the box.

It's a heater box material plate with fiberglass insulation on it.

Thanks. Was just looking at my 65 parts book and it vaguely shows it as a "deflector".

How did that thing mount? To the heater box? I can't find any way that it could. Although I THOUGHT it did.

Is that for an A/C or Non A/C?

Its just a cover to hide the vacuum motors/hoses, and box. They got kicked alot. Bolts to the bottom of the box. Mine has A/C.

Wow! I've never seen that part before. I assume that deflector is for A/C and non-A/C cars, correct? Or was it just for A/C cars?
