Does anyone make side window kits that use seat belts to raise and lower the side windows like the old SS/ did?

Thanks

I did my own for my 63 Polara. I riveted the strap to the bottom of the Lexan. I used Velcro at the top and bottom of the door panels to hold the strap when the window was up or down. The only problem I had was that self adhesive Velcro came loose from the door panel. I ended up sewing the Velcro to the strap and riveting the other side of the Velcro to the door panel. I bought the supplies at a Army/Navy surplus store.

I should add Fred is correct. I cut the piece the same dimensions as the stock glass. Except the bottom where I shortened it up a bit. My 63 was a hardtop as well so I siliconed the chrome run channel to the Lexan.I used 3/16" as I remember. My new project is a 64 Belvedere postcar. I'm only using 1/8" thick. I'm going to glue the edges with a 2nd thickness where it sits in the run channel. That way it won't rattle around in the channel. I may glue a piece across the top as well. That will stiffen it as well as making it look stock when its rolled down. It will be hidden in the channel when it's rolled up.

Thanks for the warm welcome and advice guys. I'm sure I'll have more questions as this is my first strip only build.
