I have a 69 barracuda with KH disc brakes. The car sets a lot and they leak the fluid out. I would like to keep it small bolt pattern. Has anyone changed to maybe 70-72 small bolt disc brakes with the single calipers (that you can get parts for). Is there any problems with that change, original arms still work? Can you just change spindles and rotors and go? Or does anyone know any sources for Kelsey Hays rebuilding? However I don't think re building them will solve the setting problem.

All a-body small bolt disc brakes are Kelsey-Hayes four piston calipers up through the 1972 model year. If you have leaky calipers you need to fix them and get clean brake fluid in the system.

And I just saw at a shop some rebuilt ones on exchange for under $60 ea. Looked nice.

Thanks Jim, I was not aware that KH were used past 69. That answers that. My pistons leak and drain the fluid out of the master cylinder. I put new cups in it and it helped for a couple of years and now I have let it set for about 7 months and they have leaked out again. I suppose I could get creative and redrill the 73 up rotors for small pattern. I doubt that is done much. But I think I would get a lot of money in having the KH calipers rebuilt. Thanks again.
