Which one of the E brakes pictured is correct for 1970 #507284

I bought my car, and so so much of it was in crates and baskets. I believe the upper one is the correct e brake, but I dont see where the cable is to connect the the one above.

Im not sure so if you can shine any light on the correct application of each E brake mechanism I would appreciate it.

The upper one is the correct 70 unit...That small round hole in the bracket will line up with a round hole on the ratchet assy to slide the keeper pin through your cable end...Then just snap the retainer ring onto the pin and you're done...BTW, it's easier to install the pin/cable while the assy is out of the car then install as a unit through the firewall...

When you say the "small round hole" in the bracket, are we assuming looking at the picture thats its on the right side toward where it mounts to the firewall or the left side? Tks

So in the picture above with the RED circle in it, thats where the emergency cable end connects? In the above pic on the bottom of the E brake there is a small bolt and a clamp like......what is it for??
