Aurora, Oh.
Dave (DoubleD) came over today and we finally pulled the engine out of the 63. If anyone remembers I blew it up at Clay City a few weeks ago..... here is the fist lil winday on the passenger side to get more air in the block

The block is a mess but Dave found a tube of some junk in the garage and said this should plug the holes I'm not too sure if I can agree with him this time

Me thanks the rod bearing locked up first, which siezed on the crank breaking the rod which hit the cam, breaking it making it fall down into the rotating crankshaft and ended up lodging, for a nano second, between the block main web and the rotaing crankshaft cracking the block, maybe not sorry for your loss

You didn't get that much heat in the rod journal from a broken main web... The main bearings would tell that tale.. Those rod journals were smokin..

I think it's time to go down to the gardening center buy some potting soil and some flower seeds. She's planter material. Dave
