Came on lots of cars starting in 1970. A, B & E bodies. The wire is for the horn switch that goes around the inside of the rim, you squeeze it to honk. There are people on here who restore them.

as stated, rimblow wheel. 70 option on E bodies ( and 71 barracudas ). 71 to B bodies. Never on A bodies as far I know

Wire is for horn switch, what is located on a rubber pad on inner section of the wheel perimeter.

Think this was an A and E body wheel... I seem to have seen a different rim blow wheel on B and C bodies from 1970 at least

Yes, A-body cars (Darts, etc.) had them as well

the diff was on the center pad with a Barracuda on it on Barracudas, and some other diff for the Chally, but wheel itself is the same.

Checked the hamtramck website and is not listed at least like an option on A bodies ( not even on 71 Challies ) but who knows

'70 B and A-body rimblows look like some of the C-body tilt steering wheel or the tilt wheel used in '71-2 B-bodies like below but do not interchange.

Yes, that's the one I was describing. Came on A-bodies as well in 1970.

Inforty years of Mopar fandom i've never seen that style wheel on any High performence B Body. They were either woodgrain or the padded 3 spoke with horn half circle. I have never ever seen any high performence B body with the wheel pi above. I've gone to plenty of national events over the years and owed a ton of them. Thats a new one on me. The pic or Road Runner not the rim blow on the A body. Yes i've seen plenty oif stock orignal A bodies with rim blow wheels
