would it b ok to run roller lifters in a 340 w/out bushing the lifter bores?I`ve heard u lose oil pressure.Thanks in advance

we do it all the time. it depends on the lifters you use, the lobe lift of the cam and the base circle of the cam in some cases.

Several mfgs make lifters with a solid body which blocks the slot in the lifter bore,but I think you are limited to about .650 eff lift with a 1.50 rocker.
