this is travis,not dad.i talked to him this morning.he stayed up till 3 am tearing it apart and beating out what he could.he's just beat himself.hopefully he'll make a solid pass today.thanks everyone.

Qualifying didn't start until 9AM, with Stock out first. Usually SS doesn't get on the track until 11 or so.

Do all of the hemi cars get to race for class (shootout) or do they have to qualify for the superstock field?

I just dug into this. Yes they do. The last round of qualifying is the the begining of class runoffs.

Just to clarify...

All of the SS/AH Hemi cars get to participate in Friday's Mopar Hemi Challenge.

You must be one of the 128 quickest qualifiers in order to participate in U.S. Nationals eliminations, which begin on Sunday morning.

All things considered, for a 28 car field to be seperated by a time of 0.5 second is pretty impressive. Congrats to ALL the SS/AHer's

Historically, CW jr, keeps getting faster each run at the NATS. Suppose we will see it again?
