I bought a repro battery tray for my 71 Challenger a few years ago as I was collecting parts for the resto.
We tried to install it this week before painting the engine compartment.
No luck - the mounting holes do not appear to be in the correct locations.
The holes in the tray are not centered with the (2) holes in the inner fender.
The hole for the underside brace is nowhere near the actual brace location (where the brace meets the tray).

Can someone recommend where I could get another tray that is accurate? (i.e. mounting holes in the correct locations).
Thanks.
Rich

Why not drill new holes where they need to be?

I've heard that the holes don't line up on the repros. Your only option would be to drill new holes or look for a good origonal to use.
