I have a sdss built motor and a prosystems carb.i will call patrick today but want to see what everyone else thought.if I start my car up I have to hit the gas to keep it running than after a min or two its idles fine.than if I turn the rpms up to about 2000 to 2500 it doesn't want to idle back down..i have not touch anything on either the engine or the carb since the dyno.i did put a new carb to intake gasket on it thinking there's a vacum leak.does anyone have any ideas on whats not making the idle go back down

A vac leak would be a good starting point, then timing

Did you get a vacuum reading while on the dyno... put
a vac gauge on it and see if its the same... if you
havent touched anything else the timing SHOULD be right

did you check the linkage by hand to be sure it was not sticking?and after turning up the idle to 2k/2500rpm and back down?

I haven't touch anything since the dyno.i don't know if a vacunm gauge was used at the dyno.if I give it gas to about 2-2500 than get off the gas it was to still in that rpm.oh my distibutor is locked.does anyone think the cab?i will check the linkage also and give intake bolt a small turn of the wrench

I'd start by disassembling the carb & cleaning everything W/ carb cleaner/Brake Kleen & blowing compressed air through all passages, air bleeds etc. Dyno was long while ago, & carbs don't like sitting for a year W/ out being used.
