Fairly good deal if you want to use them. IMO I would buy one for measuring preload to see what I need to cut the build your own at. They will probably be ok with light springs but the adjuster bolt that screws into the center of the push rod is pretty dang wimpy to take much spring pressure. Seems to me there is enough push rod/rocker arm problems with out loking for it.

Clean it, if it's Dirty. Oil it, if it Squeaks. But: Don't fix it, if it Works!

How would you get more RPM with a heavier push rod
(unless you turned it into a solid lifter). I've never
been a fan of them... they add weight to a system
that sure doesnt need any extra weight.... JMO

More rpm is what they are made for.... to reduce(or better put) ELIMINATE lifter pump up.
Unfortunately these ones are for converting to hydr rockers on a solid cam.

wouldn't the CORRECT LENGTH pushrood do the same thing ?

To me they are a pisspoor bandaid for pisspoor valve seat machining on a rebuild ...

True. But were not talking about prostock motors here. I used them on my street 383 so that each and every valve was adjust to the spec of .002 preload, AND , when everything wears a bit, they can be readjusted. I have the comp pro magnum lifters.

Yes. And if I had lots of money to burn, thats what I would've done. But this setup works well, so I can't complain.
