I just bought 2004 5.7 hemi motor and 5 speed auto trany for my 318 challenger. I have the drive shaft stub, computer, and the wire harness that has been professionally stripped of all unnecessary junk. the motor is fully loaded, just as it was in the vehicle. What problems do I face, and who and where do I go to get them solved. I am aware that exhaust, speedometer, drive shaft, motor mount, shifter, radiator, cooling fan, fuel pump and lines and other problems are going to be ahead of me. I have a friend of mine that has done the swap,he used a truck hemi and the engine fits like it was made for the car He used the stock manifolds and the passanger side is a little tight at the opening but not bad.Used a 727 tranny,if you run into a little problem or have a question pm me and I will ask him

can you ask your friend what kind of suprises he ran into? I am using the 5 spd auto, so I am going to run into a few more problems, but I think the over-drive will make it all worth it, as I love driving it when ever I can.
