Charlie,
Looks like your program is already in high gear for 2008. Hard work pays off.
Have you built a HEMI for anything other than a SS/AH and if so, how is the intake runner length effected by the more limited hood scoop height, ie; E-body or A990? Would a shorter intake hurt your flow formula?
Thanks in advance for your consideration and reply.
Frank

I've only built AA motors, I did just do a set of heads for a guy building a 65 car, and I did him the same intake that I use. I know the combination that works, its up to the customer to fit it under the hood.

Your demeanor is the problem, not your racing abilities.

This will date me, but I remember back when Ray Christian's 67 car had a cut down tunnel ram under the hood. I thought then that he had to have lowered the motor some to get that under the hood.

Some update photos. Does anyone have a scan of the Jackson Engine sticker ? If Charlie doesn't mind I'd like to scale it down for my build.

That is absolutely astounding Just like alot of guys here on Moparts,I used to build some pretty detailed models, but Whoa!!!you've stepped it up a whole bunch of notches.Very,Very Cool@!!! Do you do this for yourslf or do you build them to sell??Would you do one of my car????
Liteweight

I have , but they are not cheap. This build has over 80 hours in it. Yours wouldn't be that extensive, but would still require a lot of scratch building. Here's one I did.

Charlie,
did you ever sell your automatic car and start building another stick car?

Thanks, John

No, I have put that on hold. I am having a hard time keeping up with all that I have to do. I would like to have another stick car though

Sherman broke the trans in 1st round. Lil Joe spun while it was in the air. Jim Pancake did not run on Sunday. Hebert had a bye in the first and I believe an .002 red in the second. Lots of headwind all weekend except for Sat late when the heat came in. My tag had 1800 ft which included a 30.30 barometer. I think Jeff went red also in the Dart.

Looks like Kobolok is like every other engine builder, he keeps the best piece for his own car!

I guess we are in agreement, all engine builders have the fastest car.
