The hemi Darts and Cudas have several special heads up races called 'Hemi Shoot Outs' at selected races that are sponsored by Mopar and others that are run in conjunction with qualifying. The ones I can think of are all the Sportsnationals, Indy, Las Vegas- Mopars at the strip and Mission,B.C. There are more I'm sure.It has to be one of the best shows going.

Does anyone know if & when there will be a Hemi Shootout this year at Mission,B.C.,Canada??

The shootouts held at Mission ,in the past, were not Mopar sponsored. At the current time, our team is planning on attending this event. The number of other hemi cars attending will determine whether the Division 6 NHRA staff conducts a shootout or not. The winner of that will not earn points towards the Mopar series.

It's a slot car track,We race every sat. nite w/ brackets and index classes. The most popular heads-up class is SS/AH - 67-69 cuda and dart model bodies 125gram min.weight. They run .520-.540 in the 1/8th mile @ 50-52 mph !!

Too cool Dragonfish, I play with the H.O.s and have some pretty cool E and B bodies setup as Superstock drag cars, but nothing like what you guys have done. I give you major props, Good Job !!

Thanks, I build the chassis' and the motors and a fellow racer paints the bodies, he uses automotive paint and can print whatever decals u want. Right now he's doing a JIMMY DEFRANK cuda and a JIM PANCAKE dart. I'll post pics when they're done
