Does any-one know the dates for the 2008 Hemi super-stock challenge, and were will it be at ?? Thanks...B1 Frank
All I've been able to determain is that they're running at the Mopars at the Strip and of course the US Nationals. Not sure of anywhere else...maybe the Sportnationals ?

congrats to John Rains on his new National record. That was the motor I had the pics of a couple pages back. 75 pulls later it got him in the record books. WARHEADS ROCK! cw

he went 8.75 @ 151.7. that corrects to a .54. I really dont care as much about the record as I do his improved performance compared to houser. When we went to vegas last year we didnt have the performance we usually have. I think Houser was .15 faster than john, now with the new changes we made, he was a little faster. Jim Defrank and crew came over and congraulated him, they were impressed also. In the end John was happy with his car, and that makes me happy also. RIP (this was edited by "big brother" and I had to put it back) cw PS if you want to edit my posts, I think you should edit buckys also.

...wow! I think that's the first post I've ever had deleted.....why??? I don't know. I basically stated that the proof was in the puddin that CW's HP was proving itself by being added to others chassis combos and that before the Warfish era a certain other high profile builder from PA had some pretty staunch comments about being the "top dog" and is now somewhat quiet. Even the West Coast Hemi team held that title for some time. Who's next!?! I know that HP isn't the whole story to leading the SS/AA (AH) class, but can anyone put together a time line as to what builder held the record from year to year???

First run from Pomona:
1. Jenkins 8.604 152.50 (Holton) 2. Ogburn 8.750 151 (Holton) (spun and shifted into 2nd on the starting line) 3. Raybourn 8.751 150 (Panella or CFO. Not sure)
Rains (Westcott), Houser (Allread), and Faherty (Barton) all spun bad. Don't know what their exact times were.
