Does anyone mfg brackets for use with a Meziere water pump? Looking for a alternator (Full size! - not mini) and power steering brackets.

Already checked Mancini - No dice.

BB or SB? Motor plate is your best bet for either.

What bracket is needed for the WP? It should bolt directly to the block as a stock one. But, once again, motor plate is your best bet.

ps Pump attaches to the water pump on a stock style (just like the alt bracket). With the elec pump there is no place to attach.

Oh ok, I see what you mean... I don't know how to resolve this short of fabrication. Maybe someone else will know.

Nobody makes those brackets because there isn't any demand for them. Anyone who is going to run an electric water pump housing doesn't need a full size alternator and a PS setup.

If you really think you need the combination of electric water pump, full size alternator and PS then use a factory water pump housing and a drop in electric pump.

Well - if I had it to do over again I think I would opt for the elect unit in a stock housing. BUT, since I already have it I will try to fab somehting up.
I'm not sure I agree with not needing a full size alt and PS pump??? Am I the only running PS on a street/strip car? Not to mention all the electrical gizmo's...

The alternator is not too much trouble modifying a late model (mid 70's) alternator bracket. (small one not the larger early bracket) I did that for a friend a few years ago. I don't remember if I had to weld anything or just cut and drill. But it did need some custom spacers (round stock with a hole in it).

He had manual steering, so that is unknown.

Newer smaller alternators charge better, save weight, and are simpler to wire up.
Mopar power steering sucks (too easy to turn, no road feel), plus you don't need it on these old cars. I'd rather drive one with manual steering any day. Power steering is heavy and robs power so it's a no brainer to trash it for a manual box. CHIP
