I need to remove old overspray and spraybome paint from a 69 charger grill I am working on. Who has a good product that will take the old paint off and not disolve the plastic??

I saw some paint remover specifically for plastic today at O'reiley. It was the "Aircraft" spray kind. I've never used it though, tread at your own risk.

Try brake fluid on a small spot and rub with a rag or Q-tip. TSP may also work.

Just stripped some small parts with dot3 brake fluid. Had to let it sit a while, but it worked pretty good. Again, many different types of plastic out there, so tread at your own risk.

I'm in the same boat. I've got a 1968 Charger grille with paint on it.
So, I need the info too!

I have found that the small soda blaster that Harbor freight sells is a good tool to have avalible for small delicate parts. I use to refinish wood and found it worked great for that and then started striping paint on motorcycles with it. It will not harm glass or chrome, its a bit messy but very safe heck you can eat the stuff. Its just an idea that might help somone I think they run around 100 bucks but it is a heck of a tool..
