with all the electrical on the car water pump,cooling fan,ignition,delay box,trans brake,lights ect I was having a hard time keeping up with the battery so I installed a nice little 1 wire 60 amp alt.
70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake
best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

I can get 1 I used a the mount for a small block mopar with out A/C

it turns on at an idle and puts out 13.5 at an idle and 14.5 by 2k

that should help, what size wire did you run? only thing I can see is if it will keep that long belt on during a run. I like to keep them as short as possible for that reason. I would put a large tie wrap around the belt just in case it throws it off. you wont have to go looking for it.

had no choice that was the only place on the motor plate it could go I don't think it will be a problem the grove in the pulleys are nice and deep and I raped it up pretty good and the belt never even flinched but we will see.

i had that problem for a while. everytime i lost my belt the track crew would return it & demand a cold can for payment. they were seriously sucking into my after race entertainment. as soon as i fitted a cable tie it stopped falling off, the track crew don't think i'm as sociable as i used to be. hmmmmm ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drinking.gif)
