the ebay kits are junk, I buy energy bushings and moog hardparts, you pay more but its worth it! the brakes off your 8 3/4 will work on a dana 60...if you have a 7 1/4 they wont

From your other posts, I gather that you'd like to cruise and drive the car. I'd used Moog ball joints, pitmans, idlers, tie rods.

I'd also just use Moog rubber strut bushings, sway bar bushings and lower control arm bushings. BUT install moog p/n 7103 offset upper control arm bushings. Install them per the drawing/picture below (not per the instructions in the package).

The offset bushings will give you a smooth factory ride but allow for 3-4 degrees of positive caster for your alignment. That will make the car track better and straighter at legal highway speeds and beyond. And help the tracking around corners if say you'd decide cruise the coast on Highway 1 or something. It will not hurt/change ride quality noise, vibration, harshness. It will not hurt tire wear either. Run 1/4 degree positive camber with some more on one side for road camber on your alignment for a street cruiser.

The added caster will really add to the car being more enjoyable to highway cruise with.

I installed the .096 bars in my 67 coronet big block.. I believe stock big block are .092.. Real happy with them, they handle nicely and the ride is not harsh.....
