Im getting ready to do a 416 build for my cuda and was wondering about everybody's thoughts on the build.

10.5:1 (not sure on which brand pistons yet)
ported 2.02 J heads
LD340 or Air gap intake (have both)
have a new comp XE268 cam but will be going bigger since it will probably be too smal for the engine
Thermoquad or 650 Double pumper (will step up to a 750 when I find one)
Forged Eagle crank and rods
hooker headers
3.23 sure-grip

Any reccomendations or improvements and thoughts on what kind of power it will make and what it will run?

I am building a 414 out of a 340 and will be useing mild ported mopar aluminum magnum heads, XE268 cam with 1.7 mopar roller rockers to help get more flow with out increasing duration. I have some crower billet I beam rods (I might sell them to get a set of SCAT I beams because they are lighter) mopar forged crank, wisco pistons. I have an eddy airgap, tourquer II, and a mopar M1 single plane to pick between and my car already has TTI headers. I have a 770 vacume secondary holley street avenger and a mess of t-quads, I will probably use a t-quad. My goal is 500 hp and tq. I need all the tq I can get because I love my 2.76 gears to much.

If you havent bought the eagle stuff I would recomend staying far away and getting SCAT stuff (personal experiance shows it is FAR better quality) and I hear from many of the profesional engine builders the K1 stuff is real nice for the $$$ also.

What cams are you guys running in your 340 strokers? I was considering maybe a Comp XE274.
