I need to install a chute on my Cuda. Anyone have any pics on the chassis anchor mounts. I want to order a kit from someone that has everything in it but Jeg's has this spread out. May order the following items and install it myself or should I outsource the work?

Do I need anything else besides the above or does anyone know of an assembled kit for this that I could just purchase and assemble?

We install the attachment point at the centerline of the chassis.

This establishes the left to right horizontal dimension. What about a vertical dimension or reference? Any importance to having a reference for that. I was planning to install approx. at or lower than the chassis like it appears in most pics of others.

It should be based on the CG of the car.... that way
it pulls directly on the CG... if you go above it
the chute will tend to lift the front of the car...
if you go below the CG it tends to lift the rear of
the car.... the faster the car the more its seen....
I'm talking the anchor point.... you want the chute
to get into the air stream as soon as possible...
thats why you see most pointed up at a angle but
with just a pilot chute and the spring it tends to
just go rearward... a launcher shoots it out better.
You need to watch the wheelie bars... if the chute
lines get hung up on the bars it can flip the car

I got ideas for mine from the Moparts search button. I bought the Jegs kit, but ended up fabbing a good bit of the anchor.
