I have the Hurst on my car as well and used a little teflon tape on the threads of some plugs that go in the unused ports of the line lock with success for 2 years now. No leaks whatsoever using Silicone brake fluid. Good luck.

I was always a big advocate that brake fittings should be flared to seal well with the high pressure associated with the system, but the line lock has some NPT plugs. I have had no problems at all with leaks. Where exactly is it leaking from? Could it be you have a different type thread on the fitting/plug from what is needed? Just a thought.
