sorry I was speechless! it a sebring with a 2.7 V6 ( I went and look at it a hour ago) I went to see if I can get it to fire on starting fluid which it did not do so I guessing the computer is out.. someone told me today that a kill solenoid under the dash that shut the fuel pump just in case of a roll over is this true?

There is no kill switchs or roll over devices on chrysler that will shut a motor down.

basics first, fuel, spark, timing
scan tool read codes????

cam sensor crank sensor
does this have a smart key (skim).
does this vehicle have a factory theft alarm aftermarket remote start / alarm several things to review before a computer replacement is required good luck.

Don't think filling with gas has anything to do with this problem. Does the car have a normal cranking sound? Timing chain are known to go south(hope not). Pull a coil out and put a spark plug in it hold base to a ground crank to see it you are getting spark. Computer won't send fuel out if there is no spark. If you have spark you might do a compression test. Codes 12 & 52 are old type codes try a get a scanner that will read your P-codes. Try cycling the key three times and leave on the key the third time and see what shows up in the odometer spot. Use 2&2 not starting fluid unless you are a trained fireman. With out a scantool to check inputs from the cam/crank sensor this is going to be difficult.

I use one shot of starting fluid got no fire I don't have access to scan tools, my son cycle the key switch and got those two code which he confess to me later that MIGHT not be what he saw.

As long as the battery isn't drained or disconnected the codes may still be there.
