As most of you probably know, my 67 300 had dual 4 bbl Carter carbs installed by the original selling dealer. There are several problems with the set up. It was kinda "jury-rigged" for lack of a better term.

Here's the set up:
Primary carb is the FRONT carb and it is the one with the choke.
Secondary carb is the REAR with out choke.
They are mounted on an early B engine single plane intake manifold.
It was set up PROGRESSIVEly. Front carb is primary and the rear carb only comes into play with large throttle openings.
Both carbs were Carter AFB's. The front carb went bad and was replaced with an Eddy Performer w/electric choke.

Recently, my mechanic and I decided to hook the carbs in tandem...hoping for better low speed/small throttle opening response and a better fuel distribution.

Problem now is, the ROD the connects the two carbs has a lot of play and wiggle room in it and the carbs keep getting "out of synch".

DOES anyone know where I can find a carburettor interconnecting rod for a dual 4 bbl set up??

I have not posted on Moparts for quite some time, so, most of you may not remember me

I purchased mine from Speedway Motors.

You tell them what measurement you want and they make it.

Sounds good. Don't forget to order the appropriate ends for the rod as well. I believe one is RH threads and one is LH threads. It works very well.

I am down in Newport News.

If they were/are on an original manifold with correct carbs the primary carb with choke should be the rear.Linkage should have been progressive like picture.Very simple and works very well.
