what crossmember do you have in the car * round or 2x3 ? doesnt really matter if you have stock frame rails. and do you have the rearend tubed between the ladder bar brackets and tied into the bottom of the rear like BigCubes Bondo

Thanks Bigcube, that will work. If you have a pic of the mounting at the housing that would be great also. Bob, It has the round crossmember in it now. I didn't have the tube in between the ladder bar mounts but if that is where the mount goes then I will add it when I replace everything. Looks like I need 360 degree brackets now. I assume the wishbone needs to be same length as the ladder bars to go in the same arc? BTW the front end is working out fine.
Thanks, Donald

Remember that where the 2 bars come together there is a slipper tube so its not mandatory that it follow the same arc as the ladder bars.... most guys run a diagonal link with ladder bars... but you can run either

Don't have a pic Donald but my wishbone attaches opposite of Big Cubes. The Y-end attaches through clevises on the rear heim joints. Then there is a single bracket on the 4-link crossmember for the single end of the wishbone. Been that way for 12 years on my car.

Bob thanks for the pics. We made a pass on motor went 6.14. Next pass nos came on at about half track netting a 5.87@123mph. When we left on the nos it ripped the 180degree mounts off the housing on passenger side. Resulting in both quarter panels damaged, both slicks and both rear shocks damaged. I will fix it but it is going to take some work. BTW I think it likes the nos LOL

My chassis guy does them that way for a fab9 but opposite on a D60. I'm not really sure why but I don't think the car cares as long as it don't move side to side.

I know you're getting old but it was the passenger side not the drivers side ladder bar bracket that broke off the housing, LOL!
P.S. - you need to update the combo and ET's in your sig!

on a ladderbar rear, could the front attaching points be incorporated with the ladderbar front pivot bolts ?
Thats the way I did mine on my old ladder bar set up and I made up a bolt/bracket to accommodate my wish bone on my lower front mounting points on my 4-link just to be some what different... plus it swings in a similar arc(doesnt really matter)
