What kind of money is this car going pull in at auction????

If BJ propped the heck out of its history, then it would go over 2 million I presume.

Alan, I don't know what's left to say. Absolutely phenomenal work is about all I can think of.

Question, are you gonna leave the tow hooks mounted?

Alan is there any way you can just keep updating one post. Similiar to how Challenger125s post was. It would make it much easier to follow the progress.

Car looks good by the way.

What was I thinking....

John, I think you phrased it something to the effect of why not just one post of your for sale ad Alan. Didn't your mom ever tell you it isn't what you ask, but how you ask it.

Yes...most cars I've restored or dis-mantled have had them in place, this one was no exception

Challenger125 is light years ahead of me by being able to do all his own body and paint work....

However unlike Challenger125, when the car is at the body shop it gives me plenty of time to restore all the small componets so that re-assembly can go as smoothly as it has been. That's the trick

Where did the brake valve come from? Is there anyone who rebuilds them? Isn't the master cylinder supposed to be natural finish?

The brake valve is an original one carefully restored by me.

The Bendix (crimped style) booster was delivered to the assembly line as a unit together with the master cylinder. The complete package was painted completly black at the same time.
I used a real nice clean rustfree, correctly dated power booster and the correct 171 master. Both were sent out to be rebuilt by Jon Stuart Power Brake

Quick question....were all battery trays body color??

In 1971 Most battery trays were body colour. It's presumed that some early built cars may have had them blacked out.

I'd be happy to trade you a correct for '71-up parkerized type finish disc brake master cylinder for that correct for '70 only '171 you got on there now....
