One vendor lists two different part numbers for the jack instruction for '68 and '69 models (B-bodies) what is the difference??? I didn't check any other vendors to see if they did too but still what changed from '68 to '69 with regards to the instructions? I just know someone is going to point out the obvious to me within one or two replies and I'm going to go "duh"

The only thing I can think of is the tire hold down set up. 68 has the removeable hold down hook.

John, I looked and same illustrations are used on both decals. Now here's the trivia that might win you a beer sometime. The differences I see (assuming these two are correct?) are:


1. Overall size of the label with the '68 (on left) being larger.

2. The words "Remove ignition key" are not on the '69 jack instruction label in "Step (2)"

3. Step (5) has error in wording, states to "Loosen wheel BOLTS one turn" (there's the beer winner, they are lug NUTS not bolts ).

4. Step (8) Again makes the wording error and refers to them as BOLTS

5. Step (9) Makes the wording error one more time and refers to them a wheel BOLTS.

6. Part number of label OF COURSE is different.

The '69 label is smaller in overall size, has the words "Remove ignition key" deleted, the word bolts is changed to NUTS and a new part number.

You can see the word bolts on the above original jack instruction label, I'll post an A12 '69 label to see if it does read nuts and if it's missing "remove ignition key" later.

Guess what the repo '69 jack instruction decal is MISSING the words "Remove ignition key". All of the original '69 jack instruction decals have the words "Remove ignition key".......I think I need a new label for the '69...this one may be going back

kidsixpack if your's is original then it has "Remove ignition key" as does my A12 car..
