no real exact diagram of it- just factory diagrams.

Here's a simplified one, made for converting from 69/ earlier

The wire marked "from ignition switch" comes out of the same harness wire that feeds your ignition, and will ALSO have one wire (blue) feeding one connector of the two field push on connectors at the alternator. It does NOT matter which field connection is which.

The second field connection should be green, and comes right back to the "right had" (in the picture) connection at the regulator. Regulator MUST HAVE a ground that brings it electrically close to battery negative.

MY QUESTION is, what are you doing that you need to know this?
