Is the correct 1970 Hemi bendix brake booster check valve black plastic or white and painted black with the booster and master cylinder?

I am not sure that the m/c was attached when the booster was painted, but I think it was.

originals were kind of an off white,
there is now a reproduction but it's black.
But it's painted gloss black with the booster

is the F looking bracket attached on the 2 outboard master cylinder studs/nuts being done , if so is it correct ?

It's hard to tell in Snoopy's picture but the originals I have had over the years have a square molded into the front face. I have been looking for years for an NOS 100% correct one and have never found one to buy! yes, they got painted black along with the booster/master/bracketry all at once.

Yes, sort of. Mine has a raised line forming a square with the numeral 1 inside the square.

Are those photos you posted of a 1970 Hemi bendix booster check valve? My check valve looks like the one Snoopy posted. It has a narrow lip on the face while yours is much wider. I do have several that kooks like yours. I am just trying to figure out if there is such a thing as a "correct" check valve. Thanks for your photos.

That one is out of a N.O.S. booster from the early 70's.

The one on the left is from a B51 70 HEMI Challenger. The black one on the right is new, you can get them for $50

This is the original booster from my 71 hemicuda'

The correct originals I have had over the years did not have the wide edge like Snoopy's or Bill's. Mine looked like the white one in Jason's pic with a little step in the outer edge.
