how much of the carpet was glued on a 71 demon and where mine looks original but went to remove and it is glued more than i thought it should be it is even glued along both side to the wiring harness covers. this is one of the last places i had to look for a build sheet but i think it has already been removed thanks for any info ozz

Every car I have pulled the original carpet out of had NO glue.

I know mine is the vinyl flooring, but none of it was glued, either.

mine was glued by a previous owner the first time the carpet was replaced. He glued the entire thing. Made the carpet very hard to remove for me. And I spent hours with a couple bottles of "goof off" to clean all the glue off the floor.
When I installed my new carpet I just glued around the edges by the door openings.
