Here's one I just sold; had it for 11 years. Had the deluxe silver/black interior.

That car was saved..believe it or not! from Oval track racing (early 80s). From Tom and Patty out of Oregon, they still sell Mopar sheet Metal. It was a original AA1 Silver/blue interior auto Hemi RR as seen. Tom & Patty or buyer after them did it Black/Red interior 4 speed.

Pretty sure it wasn't Tom or Patty that did the "color change" because I heard that Patty was pretty, to keep it clean, mad when she saw it the first time in it's new wardrobe...

oval tracker?? it wasn't this car was it This seems to be a '69 rr or B-body Plymouth though in Oregon

How was it "saved".
I would seem that if it was raced in oval track configuration it would be unlikely that any of the sheet metal would have been usable, and the chassie would have been thrashed.
Was it only the #'s that were saved?
P>S> Headlights in a dirt track car?

I really like the AA1...
Dont mean to Hi-jack, but is AA1 close to 1969 A4?
AA1 looks lighter?? Or is it just me?

Thanks!

I don't know, black with red has always lookd good to me, although that red is wayyy bright for 68, not that the silver/blue looks bad. But if I did own it, I'd want it correct colors also.
