is a forged crank needed on a D1SC procharged, pump gas 93 octane with meth injection 440 with about 10psi and maybe a bump up in compression to about 9:1? is there any other things that should be addressed.
thanks. Dan.

Yes, if you want it to last. When you start running boost, you want the good stuff in the short block. Forged crank, good pistons and rods. A blower will find all the weak links in the motor for you. Good luck!

Do it right the first time, even if it takes longer to do.Once you start playin'with boost, you will start changing pulley's for more boostI understand the attraction,,,,orrrrrrrrrr in my case addiction to boost. My condition is fully blown

im talking 440 rb. and putting it in my club cab 1994 dakota. and would like to get to 10.99 in the 1/4 mile. if i go all forged, rods, crank, pistons and ran 10:1or 9:1 compression how much boost would it take to acheve that goal? and how much boost could it handle? 10-15psi?

my iron 346 heads flow 280 at .600 lift so an OOTB aluminum would fit that bill.i cant say what aluminum 1's would be better.
